Past Future's Future's Past

I was the kid that used to care about life
and the goods.
If you ask me now
I'll tell you bout the life in the hood.
Blinded by society
my environment's ruthless,
vivid imagination
but the reality's truthless.
I wasn't raised around lots of fun
instead I was raised around lots
of guns.
I used to preach it to the innocent.
Nobody believes me.
Adapt to killa instincts,
so how can they leave me?
I might mature in my brains
and mature in my age
but future's past past future's
I never will change.
